What is Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Financing (EPCF)?

Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) is a turnkey contracting model widely used for large‑scale infrastructure, industrial, and public development projects. Under a traditional EPC contract, the contractor is responsible for engineering the project, procuring all required materials, and executing the full construction until completion and handover.

EPCF is an expanded model that includes Financing. Under the EPCF structure, the contractor or consortium not only designs, procures, and constructs the project, but also arranges the required financing through licensed banks, financial institutions, or authorized investment platforms. This model is used for major infrastructure projects where the project owner seeks a single integrated solution.

Key Characteristics of EPCF:
• Turnkey delivery: engineering, procurement, construction, and financing under one umbrella
• Contractor arranges financing through licensed institutions
• Project owner receives a complete, ready‑to‑operate asset
• Strong compliance, due diligence, and financial verification required
• Suitable for large infrastructure, energy, industrial, and public development projects

EPCF is commonly used when:
• Government ministries require full project delivery with financing
• Private sector owners need long‑term financing solutions
• Projects must be delivered quickly and efficiently
• The project owner prefers a single point of responsibility
